Last week, Edgewood Elementary hosted a Character Walk for experts from across the country who work to advance character education in schools. The event showcased the district-wide commitment to developing core values alongside academic rigor.

Leaders from KPCEL (Kern Partners for Character and Educational Leadership) toured Edgewood Elementary to see firsthand how staff and students embed their core values into the entire school day. The visiting experts praised the school as a "peaceful" and "joyful" place of learning, highlighting the effective integration of character development within the school's environment.
